Highline Schools Foundation to host 2025 Gold Star Breakfast on Thursday, May 1

he Highline Schools Foundation will host its annual Gold Star Breakfast on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. at Cedarbrook Lodge, with the goal of raising critical funds to support students and educators across the Highline Public Schools district.

The Gold Star Breakfast is the foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year, providing the means to offer essential services and innovative programming throughout the district.

Proceeds from the event help fund basic needs like school supplies and clothing, support classroom innovation through Excel and Impact Grants, and enable the foundation to respond quickly to emerging challenges, according to organizers.

“Our 2025 Gold Star Breakfast is a fantastic morning, filled with celebration and thanks,” the organization said. “Held each year at the Cedarbrook Lodge in SeaTac, we spend the morning celebrating outstanding educators, staff, and volunteers in the district, and hearing from leaders in the Highline Public Schools community.
