Hospitality House’s ‘Walk for Women’ fundraiser will start at Merrill Gardens

Community members are invited to step out in support of women experiencing homelessness at Hospitality House’s annual Walk for Women fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. at Merrill Gardens at Burien, located at SW 151st Street and 5th Ave SW (map below).

The walk helps raise awareness and support for Hospitality House’s mission of providing “home, health and hope for women experiencing homelessness.”

Organizers emphasized that the event is open to the public.

“Support women experiencing homelessness in your community by joining us for the walk,” the announcement stated.

Hospitality House, a nonprofit shelter in Burien, has hosted the walk annually as one of its major fundraisers to support transitional housing and services for women.
