Northwest Symphony Orchestra to kick off season with Latin American Music Celebration on Saturday night, Oct. 12

Northwest Symphony Orchestra will begin its 2024-2025 season with a family concert celebrating Music from Latin America on Saturday night, Oct. 12, 2024 at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien.
This concert – which starts at 7:30 p.m. – is in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Anthony Spain, Music Director, will conduct a live concert featuring local tenor soloist Jose Iniguez and violin soloist Eric Rynes. Guest speaker will be Jimmy Matta, former Mayor of the City of Burien.

- Todo Buenos Aires: Astor Piazzola- arr. John Adams
Eric Rynes, violin soloist - Conga del Fuego Nuevo: Arturo Márquez
- España Cañi: Pascual Marquina Narro/arr. Kathy L. Fishburn

With students from the Highline School District and Key to Change - Popular Boleros
