On agenda for Burien City Council meeting: oaths, budget, bag ban, co-living rules, ICE in Burien and more

The Burien City Council will swear in four councilmembers, honor two outgoing members and consider a slate of budget, tax, housing and environmental measures, as well as federal law enforcement in B-Town at its regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 8.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., and can be viewed in-person at Burien City Hall (map below), live on Comcast TV Channel 21, via Zoom here, and via livestream here. Spanish interpretation will be available via Zoom.

SWEARING-IN OF FOUR COUNCILMEMBERS:

Early in the meeting, Municipal Court Judge Brian Todd is scheduled to administer oaths of office to Councilmembers-elect Rocco DeVito, Sam Méndez, Sarah Moore and Hugo Garcia for Positions 7, 3, 5 and 1.
