Seattle Southside Chamber hosting free Business Immigration Webinar on Tuesday, April 22

The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) and the City of SeaTac, will host a free webinar on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 to help local businesses and nonprofits navigate shifting immigration laws and employer compliance issues.

The Business Immigration & Employer Rights Webinar is scheduled for April 22 from 1:30 to 3 p.m., and will be held virtually via Zoom.

Organizers say the event aims to equip employers, nonprofit leaders and community partners with practical guidance on federal immigration policies, I-9 audits, Social Security No Match Letters, and best practices in case of workplace enforcement actions.

“In today’s rapidly evolving policy environment, it’s more important than ever for employers and organizations to stay informed and prepared,” the chamber said in a statement.

The session will include presentations from immigration experts and legal professionals, including Connor Gallivan, Midwest States Director for ABIC, followed by a live Q&A.

The City of SeaTac will also participate in the opening portion of the program.

Legal insights, updates on recent policy changes, and employer best practices will be key topics of discussion.

Organizers encourage attendees to come prepared with questions and to take advantage of the opportunity to engage with legal and immigration professionals.
