See ‘What An Impossible Idea’ live at Burien’s Serenza Salon & Spa on Friday night, April 26

April 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

In what sounds like an impossible idea, “What An Impossible Idea” – a new play by Tommer Peterson – will be performed live at Serenza Salon & Spa in Burien on Friday night, April 26, 2024.

This play will be conducted as a reading, starting at 7:30 p.m. at Serenza in Burien (map below).

The play will be performed by actors Christian Bolduc, Eloisa Cardona, Johnny Patchamatla, and E. Mandisa Subira, who will bring Peterson’s words to life under the direction of the playwright himself.

Written by Peterson, this isn’t your typical love story. This one tackles the whole spectrum – romantic partners, sure, but also family, friends, colleagues, and even those weird, hard-to-define connections we haven’t even named yet. Think of it as a theatrical tumble through the dryer of human interaction, with some stories finding closure and others just getting tangled up or covered in lint even more.

This free event (RSVP requested, link below) is supported by the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, and is perfect for anyone who’s ever wondered: how do we even find each other in this crazy world? Maybe “What An Impossible Idea” has some answers, or at least a good laugh exploring the question.

This show runs approximately 80-minutes with no intermission, so you can be back home before your bed sheets are dried.

Accessibility: Accessible entry and restrooms at this venue.
