Southend Indivisible to hold rally in Burien on Sunday, Feb. 22

Southend Indivisible is inviting community members to attend its first rally in Burien this Sunday, Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to information shared by the organization.

Organizers said the event will take place at the intersection of 1st Ave South and SW 148th Street, next to El Diablo Mexican Cuisine at 14816 1st Ave South in Burien (map below).

According to Southend Indivisible, the rally is intended to promote democracy, freedom and community unity, and participants are encouraged to bring family, friends, neighbors and colleagues.

The group described the gathering as a community focused rally that encourages people to stand up for one another and promote a message of “community, standing up for one another and LOVE,” according to the event description.
