Taste global dishes at ‘Bite of Bernadette’ festival in Burien on Saturday, May 16

A multicultural food festival featuring global cuisine, live music and family activities will take place in Burien on Saturday, May 16, according to St. Bernadette Parish School.

The “Bite of Bernadette” is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school parking lot (map below) and is designed to bring together students, families and the broader community.

Organizers said the festival will include “food from around the world,” along with live music, children’s activities and a Touch-A-Truck experience featuring fire, police and tow trucks as well as motorcycle clubs.

The event is intended to “bring our school and Burien neighbors together for a great day.”

Admission includes food samples from participating vendors, with tickets priced at $25 for adults and $15 for children.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit St. Bernadette Parish School.
