WABI Weekday Walkers will wander through Normandy Park on Wednesday, Feb. 21

All are invited to join the WABI Weekday Walkers as they stroll through the lovely streets of Normandy Park on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2023 at 10 a.m.

They’ll start by circling City Hall Park, then travel south along Des Moines Creek Drive. The path takes walkers along neighborhood sidewalks, toward the water of Puget Sound, through Brittany Park (founded in 1928), and down a set of stairs leading to The Cove.

“All are welcome to join us on this loop walk.“

Park at Normandy Park City Hall and meet by the flagpole. The walk will be 2.25 miles over paved streets and sidewalks with some ups and downs. Estimated time is 50 minutes.

• Date: Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024 (Rain or shine.)
• Time: Meet a little before 10 a.m. so we can begin walking at 10:00.
• Place: Park at Normandy Park City Hall, 801 SW 174th St, Normandy Park, WA 98166.
• Who: Walkers of every level and ability (dogs are welcome, too.)
• Distance: About 2.25 miles, round trip. Walk involves some hills and stairs.
