Luxuria Bordeaux – currently serving as “Miss Burien” as part of the Miss USA organization – is seeking Volunteers to help with a service-oriented cleanup event on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

The Miss USA organization is known for women empowerment, pageantry, and service.

“As for my platform, I focus on sustainability specifically environmental stewardship and health,” Bordeaux told The B-Town Blog. “I was given the local title as Miss Burien USA to not only represent the city but be able to magnify my sustainable platform. With your help, I am able to connect with the people for community service and engagement.”

Volunteers will work on litter pick-up throughout the Chinatown-International District areas.

Supplies and list of areas with a map will be provided upon arrival.

Meet in Hing Hay Park at Noon on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (423 Maynard Ave S., Seattle, WA 98104; map below).

Guidelines:

  • Do not pick up any sharp objects or biohazards. Please note the location of Sharps & biohazards to CIDBIA staff, and we will aid in removing it.
