The Rotary Club of Burien-White Center is gearing up for a night of camaraderie and baseball as it invites residents to join in its “Rotarians at the Ballpark” night, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at T-Mobile Park.
So far, 72 Rotarians have signed up for the 6:40 p.m. game, where the Seattle Mariners will take on the Tampa Bay Rays.
Oh, and this game will also be Ichiro Jersey Night!
Organizers are encouraging 28 more participants to purchase tickets and help fill the section to its 100-person capacity.
Open to All
While the event is being coordinated by Rotary, it’s open to all—friends, family, and community members are welcome to join the fun.
“This is more than just a baseball game — it’s a chance for our members to celebrate service, build connections, and show our Rotary spirit in a big way,” said Past District Governor Alan Merry.
Tickets Available Now
Grab your tickets here now — and let’s make this a Rotary District 5030 night to remember!
The special group will be seated in section 330, rows 18–20, directly behind home plate. Tickets cost $34.25 per person, including fees, and come with a bonus: Aug. 8 is Ichiro Jersey Night. Each attendee will receive a commemorative Mariners jersey honoring team legend Ichiro Suzuki.
Rotarians are encouraged to wear club gear, cheer loudly, and represent Rotary values under the stadium lights.
“Let’s show the Mariners what ‘Service Above Self’ looks like — with a side of peanuts and Cracker Jack,” the announcement reads.
Merry will distribute tickets via the MLB Ballpark App starting Aug. 1 and will work to keep club members seated together. Members can register with their phone number or email address for mobile delivery.
Organizers hope to light up the Special Group Billboard with the Rotary name and spirit, making it a night to remember.
