A 16-year-old boy who was fatally shot at a Burien home on Friday, June 20 has been identified as Angel Gabriel Estrada Carbajal, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office announced Tuesday.

As we previously reported, the tragic shooting occurred at about 5:03 p.m. on June 20 in the 100 block of SW 142nd Street.

Coroners said Carbajal died due to a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was ruled as a homicide.

Earlier reports indicate that Burien police responded to shots fired at the home on Friday night, where they discovered the teen.

Sadly, emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

No arrests have been announced, and police have not released details on a possible suspect or motive.

Everyone at The B-Town Blog/South King Media extends their deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved Angel.
