A semi-truck crash on eastbound SR 518 near SR-99 caused traffic disruptions Thursday night, June 26, 2025, as Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers responded to the scene.
Authorities said no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
WSP said that the truck’s driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
According to troopers, the driver was traveling too fast for the conditions, leading to the collision.
“This will be a lengthy tow recovery,” WSP said in a statement posted on social media shortly after the incident. “Please use caution through the area.”
No further details about the driver or the truck’s cargo were immediately released.
