EDITOR’S NOTE: This post has been updated with the correct map for the location of where the suspect(s) were apprehended.

On Friday night, June 27, 2025 at about 11:10 p.m., Burien Police/King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) Deputies received a hit on a FLOCK camera of a vehicle matching one involved in a recent homicide.

A FLOCK camera is an automated license plate reader system that captures vehicle plate numbers and alerts law enforcement when a match is found with wanted or stolen vehicles.

Police said the vehicle was located driving in the area of Des Moines Memorial Drive and S. 156th Street, and was also reported stolen.

The vehicle attempted to elude police, but Deputies pursued it.

The occupants eventually bailed on foot in the 15300 block of 4th Ave S. near Highline High School (map below).

Burien and unincorporated KCSO Deputies, along with support from a K-9, were able to locate and detain the suspect after an extensive search.

Police did not clarify which homicide case this arrest is connected to.

“I’m unable to identify the suspect at this time,” KCSO MPO Jace Hoch told The B-Town Blog. “This is still actively being investigated.”
