The King County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday, July 8 identified the man killed in a July 3 shooting near Glen Acres Golf Course in Boulevard Park as Jesse Ross Komotios, 41, of Boulevard Park.
Komotios died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of South 112th Street and 12th Avenue South, according to officials.
Coroners ruled the manner of death as a homicide.
As we previously reported, the shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. on July 3, and also left another man seriously injured. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center and his current condition is unknown.
Authorities say the shooting followed what 911 callers and witnesses described as an argument in the roadway that escalated into gunfire.
No arrests have been made, and the King County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
