REMINDER: BAT Theatre will present the final two FREE outdoor performances of The Guardsman this weekend, in Normandy Park on Friday night and SeaTac on Sunday afternoon:

Friday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Marvista Park in Normandy Park

Sunday, Aug. 17 at 5 p.m. at Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden in SeaTac

Synopsis

“A popular actor suspects his new actress wife is getting restless, so he takes on his most daring role yet—disguising himself as a dashing guardsman—to test his wife and win her love. The actor sweeps his wife off her feet, creates romance and drama, and nearly torpedoes their marriage in the process. 

The Guardsman ultimately asks the question: “Where does the acting end and true emotion begin?

These events are part of BAT Theatre’s summer series of free performances across the region, designed to bring accessible, family-friendly productions to community spaces.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, along with local takeout or snacks, and enjoy an evening of live theater in the park.
