SAVE THE DATE: Burien non-profit Para Los Niños de Highline will host its annual fundraising gala, Corazón, on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at Club Sur.

The evening will feature keynote speaker Sen. Rebecca Saldaña, along with recognition of honorees Paula Lopez and Griselda Morales as this year’s Para Los Niños award recipients.

The gala begins at 5 p.m. and is open to the community.

Organizers said the event will celebrate Latino students’ academic success through parent and community involvement, with an evening of connection, culture and fundraising.

Early bird tickets are available for $160 through Oct. 10, a $25 discount from the regular individual price.

Para Los Niños de Highline works in South King County schools and communities including Burien, SeaTac, White Center, Tukwila and Des Moines, engaging families in education and creating programs that support Latino students.

More information about the gala is available through the Para Los Niños de Highline website.
