Westside Unitarian Universalist Congregation will host a re-streaming of a recent talk by renowned environmentalist Bill McKibben this Sunday, Sept. 21, as part of its Sun Day programming.

The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to Noon at the congregation’s location (map below). It will feature McKibben’s Sept. 16 Seattle Town Hall discussion about his new book, Here Comes the Sun, followed by community discussion.

McKibben, co-founder of 350.org and Third Act, is recognized internationally for his climate activism. His talk focuses on the role of solar and wind power in reshaping economies, addressing climate change and building more equitable communities.

Coffee, snacks and additional discussion opportunities will be available after the program.
