Kennedy Catholic High School’s Lancer varsity football team bounced back from a painful 28-0 loss last week to defeat the Tahoma Bears 27-17 in a North Puget Sound League matchup on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Highline Memorial Stadium.

The victory gave the Lancers a home conference win against the Bears, who traveled from Maple Valley for the contest.

Kennedy Catholic improved its overall record to 1-2 while Tahoma dropped its to 1-2.

Tahoma held the Lancers close in the first half, but Kennedy Catholic extended its lead after halftime to secure the 10-point win.

Kennedy’s next game will be at 7 p.m. at the Kentwood Conquerors on Friday night, Sept. 26 – buy tickets here.
