Costumes, cocktails, and community spirit will fill downtown Burien on Friday, Oct. 25, during the Creepy Crawler Costume Contest, a Halloween-themed pub crawl hosted by Discover Burien.
Also, the classic “Rocky Horror Picture Show” film will be screening twice on an outside screen.
The event runs from 5 to 10 p.m. and invites participants to dress in their creepiest, funniest, or most outrageous costumes while making their way through local pubs.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, according to Discover Burien.
Organizers said this fun event is designed as both a night of spooky fun and a way to bring people together in downtown Burien to support local businesses.
Event Details:
- Registration is $25 per person to be entered into the costume contest and to participate in the pub crawl.
- Costume Contest for CASH prizes:
- 1st prize – $500
- 2nd prize – $250
- 3rd prize – $100
- Best Costume votes will be collected by bar/pub employees, Facebook followers/shares and Discover Burien staff.
- Participants will get a photo, costume number, pub crawl map and complete rules for the contest at check-in.
- Voting will be from Oct. 25–31, and WINNERS will be announced Oct. 31.
- Pubs participating in the event will have specials – more details provided at check-in
- 21+ event; bring valid ID at check-in. No cash refund policy.
