Highline High School’s Pirates varsity football team was shut out at home Friday, Sept. 26, falling 47–0 to the Issaquah Eagles in a conference game at Highline Memorial Stadium.

Issaquah (2–2) scored in every quarter and dominated both sides of the ball, while Highline (1–3) was unable to get on the scoreboard.

The Pirates were held scoreless in all four quarters despite averaging 46.3 passing yards per game entering the matchup.

The loss underscores a tough stretch for the Pirates, who will look to regroup as league play continues.

Highline next takes on North Creek at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3 at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.
