  • Tom McLeod, Mayor of Tukwila
  • Mohamed Egal, Mayor of SeaTac
  • Eric Zimmerman, Mayor of Normandy Park
  • Jim Ferrell, Mayor of Federal Way
  • Rafael Padilla, Kent Police Chief, President-elect at Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs
  • Samantha Le, President/CEO of the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce
  • Tina Orwall, Washington State Senator
  • Joe Nguyen, Director at Washington State Department of Commerce
  • Bilan Aden, V.P./Co-Founder, African Community Housing and Development
  • Dominique Alex, CEO, Mary’s Place
  • Toshiko Hasegawa, Port of Seattle Commissioner
  • Hamdi Mohamed, Port of Seattle Commissioner
  • Shamso Issak, Executive Director of Living Well Kent
  • Rogelio Riojas, President/CEO of Sea Mar Community Health Centers
  • Cherryl Jackson-Williams, Skyway community steward

“I’m honored to serve on Executive-Elect Girmay Zahilay’s transition team and to represent the City of Tukwila in shaping the future of King County,” Tukwila Mayor McLeod said. “This is an opportunity to strengthen regional collaboration and ensure that every community — large or small — has a voice in building a more equitable and prosperous King County.”

The transition committee is composed of representatives from government, labor, business, philanthropy, and community organizations across King County.

Members will advise Zahilay as he prepares to take office, helping shape priorities and identify areas of need across the region.
