A months-long investigation led by the Burien Police Department’s Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team resulted in multiple arrests and large scale drug seizures tied to a trafficking network with direct links to the Sinaloa Cartel, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The operation, called “Operation Eastbound and Down,” targeted several local drug distributors and a regional supplier based in Bridgeport, WA. Detectives determined the supplier and an accomplice were receiving more than 100 pounds of narcotics every few weeks before distributing the drugs to local dealers across King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.

Detectives executed search warrants in Bridgeport, Lynnwood and Kirkland with assistance from K9 Quinn.

Four people were arrested in connection with the operation, and the estimated street value of the seized narcotics is about $1.3 million dollars.

The overall investigation resulted in the following:

  • 70.55 pounds of Methamphetamine
  • 16 pounds of Fentanyl powder
  • 6.83 pounds Heroin
  • 1.67 pounds Cocaine
  • 1 handgun recovered
  • 1 car seized (used to distribute narcotics)
  • $83,652 cash seized (drug proceeds)
  • 4 arrests

“This operation demonstrates the continued commitment to dismantle dangerous drug networks and protect our communities from the devastating impact of narcotics trafficking,” police said in a statement.

  1. OMG give that dog a big steak! And also a big hi-5 to the detectives and sheriff’s for the job well done!

    1. Why should we support poorly trained cowards, who hide their faces, when our local agencies are getting the job done?

      1. The difference is the local agencies are not involved in Immigration enforcement and not tasked with that responsibility, although I’m sure those arrested will be dealt with by the Federal government/ICE.

  2. Way 2 go Quinn! And all the law enforcement involved. There will be much less people dying on our streets,
and our communities. Thank you all!
