EDITOR’S NOTE: South King Media Founder/Publisher Scott Schaefer serves on the Board of Directors for the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce.
The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce is inviting member businesses to participate in the 2026 Career Showcase on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent.
This event will run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
“This event brings together up to 1,500 students from across South King County to explore career pathways, internships, training programs, and post secondary opportunities,” the chamber said in its announcement.
Organizers say the showcase offers businesses an opportunity to connect directly with the region’s future workforce and highlight career opportunities within their industries. Companies that are hiring, building a talent pipeline or seeking to increase awareness about their field are encouraged to participate.
“Tabling at the Career Showcase positions your business as a community leader invested in youth and workforce development,” the chamber said.
Vendor applications are now open, and space is limited. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for organizations seeking additional visibility at the event.
