Veterans from across South King County are invited to attend a Vet’s Cafe gathering this Thursday, April 23 at Auntie Irene’s Coffee in Des Moines (map below0.
The event is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to information provided by Chuck Rangel of American Legion Burien Post 134.
Organizers said the Vet’s Cafe is intended as an opportunity for veterans to connect in an informal setting over coffee and conversation.
Rangel expressed appreciation for community participation, stating, “Thanks for all your support.”
The gathering is open to all veterans in South King County.
