What happens when you mix good wine, genuine conversation, and a belief that community is the most undervalued asset in real estate? You get UnCorked! Building Opportunity Through Community — a new monthly gathering series making its home in the Burien and South Seattle area.
The inaugural event, held at Wolfpack Cellars, brought together local residents, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for an evening centered not on transactions, but on relationships. Hosted by Dave Hinshaw, real estate broker with Keller Williams Realty and founder of Diane’s Dreamy Delights, and Ken Pearson of Movement Mortgage, UnCorked was designed from the ground up to be something the area rarely sees: a no-pressure space where opportunity grows naturally out of authentic connection.

The event continues to draw 20 to 30 attendees from across the Burien and South Seattle corridor — a region Hinshaw has called home and served professionally for years. Conversations ranged from local economic development and small business growth to homeownership, favorite restaurants, what a zookeeper does in a day, neighborhood identity, and what it means to invest in a community for the long term.
Hinshaw, who is also active in the Greater Puget Sound Business Alliance, sees UnCorked as a natural extension of his broader mission: building a more connected, opportunity-rich South Sound.
UnCorked will be held every second Wednesday of the month at Wolfpack Cellars — a staple in the Burien and White Center communities and a fitting home for a series rooted in place and powered by people. Registration and event information are available at UnCorked.community.
