BAT Theatre’s next delicious Cabaret at Angelo’s, Judy Ann sings Garland and other Favorites, has added a performance due to the performers’ popularity, Sunday, May 31 at 6 p.m., and Monday, June 1 at 7 p.m.

The Cabaret features fabulous Seattle entertainer Judy Ann Moulton with her talented husband Jon Miller on bass and guitar, Denali Williams on drums, and special guest Jeff Caldwell from New York on keyboards. Due to popular demand, a second show was added while Caldwell is in town.

Judy Ann Moulton has been in demand as a featured musical theater performer in the Pacific Northwest for well over three decades. Blessed with a voice that can fill a concert hall and then quietly caress a soft ballad, she is “old school” when it comes to delivering a song to an audience. Her show Judy Sings Judy received the BroadwayWorld.com Seattle Critic’s Choice Award for Best Theatrical Event of 2010. Moulton flourishes in Garland’s musical world, so sit back and enjoy an evening of some of the finest Judy Garland songs along with many musical theater favorites performed by a gifted and marvelous singer.

Special guest keyboard artist Jeff Caldwell currently lives in New York City, teaching voice and coaching musical theater. He specializes in training singers and taught at the University of Washington and Cornish College of the Arts. Caldwell played in the Broadway pit of The Producers, sang in the New York City Opera chorus, and was a musical vocal coach on the Juilliard Drama Division faculty. Before moving to New York, he sang and music-directed at many Seattle-area theaters, including 5th Avenue, Seattle Rep, Village Theater, Intiman, and ACT. One of Caldwell’s earliest local performing experiences was as Danilo in The Merry Widow directed by Al Reamer at BAT Theatre, which was then Burien Little Theatre. A few years later, he met Moulton in another South Sound show, Nunsense, at Renton Civic Theater. He is thrilled to return “home” and collaborate with longtime friends and colleagues. Do not miss this chance to see Caldwell back in Seattle, performing with longtime friends.

The Cabarets at Angelo’s are intimate musical performances on the first Monday of each month in the Michelangelo Banquet Room of Angelo’s in Burien at 601 SW 153rd Street, Burien. Some of the hottest cabaret acts from the Puget Sound region are on the menu.

Presented by BAT Theatre in partnership with Angelo’s, the Cabarets are a benefit for BAT.

Doors open 90 minutes before the show for those ordering drinks and dinner. Show-only seats are also available.

$20 suggested donation at the door for the show. Dinner is a separate charge.
