The beloved Giveaway Days event returns to Burien’s Three (aka “FREE”) Tree Point on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 & 28, 2026, offering residents a chance to declutter, donate, and discover free household items.
Now in its fourth year, the community event echoes the success of previous events, where hundreds turned out to Burien’s Three Tree Point neighborhood to take or leave everything from furniture and kitchenware to toys and tools and more.
“Place items you don’t want along the road in front of your home and folks will take what they want,” organizers said, “you still have to get rid of what’s leftover but that will be a much smaller pile.”
Organizers suggest adding a large “FREE STUFF!” sign to indicate that items are free and up for grabs.
Once stuff is out and labeled, it’s up for grabs in a kind of free neighborhood giveaway event – just drive/stroll through the area and take what you like (takers must haul what they take).
There will be no “holds” allowed on items – everything is up to you to haul and you cannot knock on doors or bother homeowners. It’s first come, first served!
Organizers also emphasized the eco‑friendly, re-use benefits of the event.
Remember – put out some good stuff you don’t need, not junk or garbage, and let’s turn this neighborhood into FREE Tree Point!
All are welcome, and there are no fees or registrations.
