Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden has announced three August events, including two concert markets and an outdoor movie night.
All these events are FREE and family-friendly.
Event Schedule
The events include:
- Friday, Aug. 7: Concert Market featuring The Sleepy Haunts, from 4–8 p.m., with concert starting at 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 14: Concert Market featuring Küf Knotz and Christine Elise, from 4–8 p.m., with concert starting at 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 22: Movie Night showing “The Goonies” from 8:30–10:30 p.m.

The Aug. 7 Concert Market will feature locally sourced products, community partners, food and beverages. The Sleepy Haunts is described by organizers as a bubble grunge band from the Pacific Northwest, led by frontwoman Gillian McMahon.

The Aug. 14 Concert Market also will feature a performance by MC, poet and songwriter Küf Knotz and harpist, pianist and vocalist Christine Elise. Organizers said the duo blends hip-hop and harp.

The Aug. 22 Movie Night will feature the iconic Northwest-filmed “The Goonies.” Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and enjoy popcorn in the garden as the sun sets, according to the event information.
