REMINDER: Burien’s Music in the Park concert series continues (with just two more concerts!) at Lake Burien School Memorial Park this Thursday night, Aug. 13, with jazz, funk, ukulele soul from Champagne Honeybee.
“Champagne Honeybee is singer/ songwriter, Rani Weatherby, her trusty ukuleles, and talented backing band,” according to their website. “Their sound is a mix of contemporary jazz, blues, folk, and ukulele soul. They have performed all over the Pacific Northwest, and toured the Midwest and East Coast as a solo act. Local media appearances include the Bob Rivers morning radio show, Audioasis on KEXP, KING5 Morning News, and Band in Seattle television program.”
The FREE concert series continues from 6:30-8 p.m. this Thursday at Lake Burien School Memorial Park (map below), marking the second-to-last Music in the Park concert of the summer before the series wraps up Aug. 20.
The food truck this week will be Dirty Dawgs.
So grab a blanket, bring a friend and soak up some FREE summer music while you still can.

Organizers advise attendees that in the event of rain, concerts may be relocated. Information about weather-related changes will be available by calling 206-988-3700 after 5 p.m. on concert days.
