A patient was taken to a Seattle area hospital after responders searched Angle Lake in SeaTac Tuesday, Sept. 1 and found a victim following a report of a drowning at Angle Lake Park, according to Puget Sound Fire.

Puget Sound Fire and the SeaTac Police Department responded to the report.

The patient had been underwater for about 17 minutes, officials said.

Puget Sound Fire firefighters and paramedics from King County Medic One provided lifesaving medical assistance at the scene.
