BAT Theatre’s Movie Musical Karaoke has now broadened to include all ages, as long as minors are accompanied by someone 21 or older, starting with the Tuesday, Sept. 9 karaoke.

The event is also expanding by an extra hour with an earlier start time.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and it’s karaoke from 6-9 p.m. at The Tin Room Theater (map below).

Sing along to your favorite film musical soundtracks playing on the big screen with subtitles, or watch the action. Selection of movie musicals provided, or bring your favorite movie musical DVDs. There will be solos, duets, and group singalongs. Costumes and choreography are encouraged but not required.

And if it’s hot outside, sing along in The Tin Room Theater’s AC comfort.  Stop in for dinner and/or drinks before or after the show. The Tin Room Restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 to 11 p.m.

Admission is a $5 donation for patrons under 21, and $10 for everyone else, either online or at the door. Thanks to The Tin Room, all proceeds support BAT Theatre, which brings you better live theater!

Buy your tickets online in advance at BATkaraoke.click4tix.com until 12 Noon Sept. 9 (after that, tickets are only available at the door).

Seating is extremely limited (38 capacity), so early purchase is highly recommended.

BAT’s Movie Musical Karaoke is held on the second Tuesday of each month, with the next event set for Oct. 14.
