Families can receive a FREE professional Santa photo by bringing a food bank donation to the sixth annual “Santa Claus is Coming to B-Town” and food drive on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Tin Theater.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tin Room Bar & Theater (map below), but closed for Santa’s “cookie break” from 1 to 1:30 p.m.
Santa photos will be delivered digitally following the event courtesy of CloverLaine Photography.
Organizers will also have a raffle prize featuring local small businesses, with 100% of ticket sales benefiting the Highline Area Food Bank.
What donations help the food bank the most?
- Nonperishable foods such as soups, canned vegetables, rice and beans, tuna, sauce, meal-in-a-box (hamburger helper, macaroni and cheese, etc.), pasta, cereal, pancake mix, canned fruit.
- Personal Hygiene Items such as shampoo, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, menstrual products.
- Monetary Donations are especially useful as the food bank can purchase food in bulk at wholesale prices, and it gives them flexibility to purchase items to fill specific and timely needs for those they serve.
Organizers encourage community members to click here or scan the QR code below for updates.
Attendees are asked to bring a donation for the food bank in exchange for a free professional Santa photo.
