Two people with outstanding warrants were arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025 after Burien Police discovered a stolen vehicle while responding to a call about an abandoned car.
Deputies were dispatched earlier in the day to check an abandoned vehicle. When they arrived, they found the reported vehicle along with a second car that was occupied by two individuals. Police said the second vehicle was confirmed to be stolen.
Both occupants were identified as felons with active warrants. One had a felony warrant for attempting to elude and possession of a stolen vehicle. The second person had a misdemeanor warrant issued by the Burien Police Department.
The stolen car was recovered and returned to its owner.
Police transported both individuals to jail where they were booked.
“Thank you to those who reported this suspicious activity,” police said in a statement.
