CALL FOR ARTISTS: Artists sought for ‘BAM!’ Burien Art Market, coming Saturday, Sept. 13

The Burien Arts Association is seeking local artists to take part in “BAM!”, the annual Burien Art Market, set for Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Shark Garden – New Start Community Garden.

The family-friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature local art, music, and a food truck in a garden party atmosphere.

Organizers said last year’s market drew about 300 attendees.

Event Details:

  • 12 10×10 tent booth spaces – sign up early and reserve your space now as spots are on a first come basis
  • Artists are responsible for all tables and tents, and tents must have weights
  • Booth Sharing is allowed
  • Set up begins at 9 a.m. 
  • Market opens at 11 a.m.
  • Market ends at 2 p.m.

Participation Cost: $50

WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

WHERE: Shark Garden – New Start Community Garden (map below)
