Local non-profit Transform Burien is asking the community for urgent help as its food bank and meal service face a shortage of water and other drinks during the ongoing late summer heat.
The nonprofit said its supplies of water, juice and refreshments are running extremely low, which threatens its ability to continue serving meals and distributing groceries.
Right now, the organization is requesting donations of bottled water, juice, and other drinks to restock supplies.
