Merrill Gardens at Burien is inviting the community to a fun-filled afternoon with a heartfelt purpose during its “Carnival for a Cure” fundraiser on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The event — open to residents, families, friends, and neighbors — will feature delicious food, classic games, music, and entertainment, all in support of the Alzheimer’s Association.

According to organizers, 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to fund research and care for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

“Bring your loved ones and help us make a difference while making memories,” the event invitation reads.

The carnival will be held at Merrill Gardens, located at 15020 5th Ave SW in Burien (map below). Donations in the form of cash or check will be accepted at the event.

The event offers an opportunity for the community to come together not only for fun, but for a cause that affects millions of families.

Merrill Gardens provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care services.
