The City of Burien and Eco Infinity Nation, in partnership with Public Health — Seattle & King County, will distribute 100 free air purifiers to local residents impacted by air pollution during a community giveaway on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Burien Library, located at 400 SW 152nd Street (map below).

Burien residents can earn a free air purifier by completing a brief five-minute survey.

The giveaway will continue while supplies last.

Organizers say the initiative aims to reduce health risks associated with poor indoor air quality, especially during wildfire season and other pollution events.

“This is a simple but meaningful way to help our community breathe easier,” said a representative from Eco Infinity Nation. “Improving air quality indoors can have a big impact on overall health — especially for children, seniors and those with respiratory conditions.”

The effort is part of a larger public health initiative to address environmental health disparities and support vulnerable populations across South King County.

For more information, residents can contact the City of Burien or visit the Burien Library on the day of the event.
