UPDATE: Two people were killed in a triple stabbing Monday night, Sept. 8, 2025 at an apartment building in Burien, police said.
The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) said dispatchers received a call around 9:30 p.m. Monday night about a stabbing in the 200 block of S. 152nd Street (dispatch call below) across from Highline High School.
When deputies arrived, they found at least one injured victim outside the apartment building.
He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition.
“This is an active homicide investigation,” KCSO Communications Manager Brandyn Hull told The B-Town Blog. “There is no danger to the public.”
Multiple fire and medic units also responded to the scene, which was originally called in as a shooting, according to dispatch records.
No arrests or suspect details have been released as of late Monday.
This is a developing story; as we learn more we’ll update this post.

Again, Burien’s in the news for all the wrong reasons.
Oh no crime happen in burien and was not in front of DESC or any people from there . How must we find a way to blame them for this as we light are flaming brooms and torches to push them out of the area .
If it annoys you that people are trying to solve an obviously bad problem within Burien, maybe you should focus on the things your passionate about instead?
I don’t see your passion at all in this subject, your retorts & replies are just put downs of worried residents and exaggerated false happenings..
Hopefully you will see that the residents and city council of Burien that were in favor of DESC originally were because of their company’s mission and their good neighbor policy – along with all their claims they made as a professional rehabilitation organization.
None of those promises or claims or safety for the homeless members living at DESC are happening – zero accountability. The homeless members need a better solution, the residents need a better solution, and the city needs a better solution.
God Bless jimmy
