The Environmental Science Center (ESC) will host a series of free beach naturalist events at Burien’s Seahurst Park Beach from April through August 2026, offering residents a chance to explore local marine life during low tide.

The program invites participants to meet staff and volunteer naturalists on the beach, where they will help visitors explore safely, answer questions and share stewardship tips.

Events begin Saturday, April 18 and continue through Aug. 12, with multiple dates scheduled each month to coincide with low tide conditions.

The lowest tides of the season will be a -4.3 on Monday, June 15 and a -4.2 on Tuesday, June 16.

No registration is required, and participants can drop in during scheduled times.
