‘Shape Your City’ Open House will be Tuesday, April 18

A ‘Shape Your City’ Open House will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Burien Library Community Room.

“Your voice can help shape Burien’s future,” organizers said. “Join us for food and a collaborative art activity during an open house to plan for Burien’s best future through 2044. Results of this planning effort will guide policymaking, operational plans, and budgets for the next twenty years. It’s vital that community voice guides these important planning processes and understanding where people can live, work, play, and move around Burien is essential.”

Interpreters will be available for Spanish, Vietnamese, and Amharic.

Guests will discuss:

• Housing
• Parks
• Recreation programs
• Public art
• Transportation
