Families, friends, and film fans are invited to enjoy summer evenings under the stars as King County Parks and Discover Burien bring back Free Movies in the Park to Burien Town Square Park, starting this Friday, July 11, and running weekly through August 8.

Screenings begin at approximately 8:15 p.m., or dusk, each Friday.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, low-back chairs, and their own snacks to make the most of this open-air experience.

Leashed pets are welcome, and the events are suitable for all ages.

“Join us for a summer evening of family friendly movies,” organizers said.

Schedule

The 2025 movie lineup includes:

  • July 11: The Wild Robot
  • July 18: Wicked
  • July 25: Lilo & Stitch
  • August 1: Better Nate Than Ever (a Pride Month special screening)
