A group of determined young Little League baseball players from Burien are heading to the state championship — and they need the community’s help to get there.

The 11U All-Star team, comprised of 9 to 11-year-olds from the local PacWest Little League, went undefeated this season, beating Seattle Central 3-1 last weekend to win the District 7 Championship and earn a spot in the Washington State Little League Tournament from July 19 to July 27 in Spokane.

PacWest is a local youth baseball and softball program affiliated with Little League International that serves the Burien, Tukwila, and SeaTac areas.

The 11U team is made up of 12 players and three coaches who have worked tirelessly all season to earn their spot on the big stage.

How You Can Help

The team is hoping to raise $8,000 so they can chase their dream of earning a spot in the Little League World Series.

To help cover the costs of travel, lodging, meals, tournament fees, and equipment, the team has launched a GoFundMe campaign — where YOU can help them.

“These hardworking boys have put in countless hours of practice, teamwork, and heart to earn their spot — and now we need your help to get them there,” organizers said.

The trip to Spokane represents not just a competition, but an unforgettable experience — one that reinforces sportsmanship, commitment, and community pride.

Donations of any amount are appreciated, and supporters are also encouraged to share the fundraising page to help spread the word.
