The Highline High School Alumni Foundation’s 2025 golf tournament raised a record $15,173 for student scholarships, the organization announced.

The event – held Friday, Aug. 22 at the Auburn Golf Course – marked the most successful fundraising total in the 22-year history of the tournament, which supports scholarships for Highline High School seniors.

“We’re gratified for the strong support by the community for the Foundation’s efforts,” Foundation President Jeff Ashley said in a statement. “Every dollar goes directly to scholarships.”

Since its founding 30 years ago, the Alumni Foundation has awarded $1.3 million in 515 scholarships to graduating students. In 2024 alone, the group awarded $87,000 to 23 students.

Next year’s tournament is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at Auburn Golf Course.
