The King Conservation District is seeking applicants to fill its open Position 2 Supervisor seat, which represents south King County, the agency announced.

The unpaid role requires about four hours per month and comes with training.

According to the district, the supervisor will help guide local conservation work, including support for urban and rural agriculture, wildfire preparedness and natural resource stewardship in south end communities.

The selected applicant will serve through May 2028.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Dec. 3.

The district encouraged South King County residents interested in conservation, local food systems and community resilience to apply or share the opportunity.

More information and application details are available at https://kingcd.org/kcd-board-position-no-2-vacancy/.
