King County residents affected by last week’s powerful “bomb cyclone” windstorm are encouraged to report damages to the King County Office of Emergency Management by completing an online survey at kcemergency.com.

The survey link, available on the website, allows residents to document storm-related property damage, helping local officials assess the scope of the impact and determine necessary resources for recovery efforts.

Property Tax Relief

If your property (private and business) has been damaged in this storm, you may qualify for property tax relief. For more information on how to apply, go to Destroyed property relief – King County, Washington.

In addition to reporting damages, residents can access important information about debris removal and food safety on the same site. These resources aim to help the community recover and address common post-storm challenges.

If your primary residence or your business was damaged by the weather, officials would like to hear from you – click here to report your damages.

The King County Office of Emergency Management reminds residents that their input is vital to planning and allocating recovery assistance.
