Drivers in Burien should prepare for continued SR 509 lane and ramp closures this week, as work will restrict traffic through the morning of Sunday, Sept. 14, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

This work will also affect roads in Des Moines, SeaTac, and Kent.

WSDOT said that ramp closures on I-5 will allow crews to install signage and stripe the road.

The lane and ramp closures on SR 516 will allow crews to pave the road.

The SR 509 ramp closures will allow crews to install signage and perform paving work.

This work is part of the SR 509 Completion Project.
