Burien residents and movie musical fans can sing along to big screen scenes and subtitles on Tuesday night, Feb. 10 during Movie Musical Karaoke, a benefit event for BAT Theatre.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Theater at the Tin Room, 923 SW 152nd St. in Olde Burien (map below).
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the show running from 6 – 9 p.m.
Organizers say the format features scenes from movie musicals played on a big screen with subtitles, allowing the audience to sing along.
A selection of DVDs will be provided, and participants are also invited to bring their own favorites.
Admission is by donation to BAT Theatre, with entry listed as $5 for people under 21 and $10 for those 21 and older.
The poster states that patrons under 21 must be accompanied by someone over 21.
“Costumes and choreography encouraged, but not required,” the poster says.
Those who want to secure a spot can register online at batkaraoke.click4tix.com.
The event is hosted by Philip Heier and Brian James Michael, according to the poster.
