Nominations are now open for Highline Schools Foundation’s 2026 Gold Star Awards, which will honor outstanding teachers, volunteers, alumni and staff throughout the Highline Public Schools district.

All current staff, volunteers, and alumni can be nominated and anyone who lives within the Highline community can nominate a Gold Star.

If you know someone in the district who deserves recognition, please nominate them before Feb. 16, 2026.

All nominees will be celebrated and winners announced at our annual awards dinner, the Gold Star Bash.

Winners will receive a beautiful Gold Star trophy as well as a $500 prize from the Foundation, thanks to the Foundation’s generous Gold Star Sponsors. The Outstanding Teacher will also receive two round trip tickets from Alaska Airlines to anywhere they fly.
