Courtesy Jen Ritzinger comes these great photos showing adoptable dogs from Burien CARES seen at Saturday’s annual “Boo in Burien” Halloween celebration, delighting festival-goers and offering residents a chance to meet pets in need of homes.

The Oct. 25 event in downtown Burien featured costumed families and dogs, along with trick-or-treating at local businesses and other festivities, with the local animal rescue bringing several pups available for adoption.

Burien CARES, located at 909 SW 151st Street, serves as the city’s animal care and control agency and operates an adoption center.
